  • Primarily responsible for editing of Rating Rationales and other material including opinion pieces, commentaries
  • Correct & Improvise the content in the rating rationales while maintaining analytical quality and credit opinion as warranted by the rating

  • Following the workflow and internal process
  • Adhering to Acuite's policies and processes with due consideration of required compliance

Job Description: 

Acuité is building a separate Capital Markets division. This division will drive future growth of the company and play a very important role by leading innovation in the credit rating space. The Capital Markets division will handle rating and research assignments for large corporates listed on NSE/BSE platforms, corporates issuing debt capital market instruments like bonds, debentures and commercial papers.

Job Description

  • Responsible for revenue achievement, lead generation, pre-sales, negotiations, closure and relationship maintenance
  • Oversee key relationships with lead arrangers, influencers and bankers for large domestic mandates and for regular deal flow
  • Manage/Coach the team for revenue generation, client management and lead generation
  • Develop and monitor client retention strategies for the region
  • Strengthen Acuite’s brand as an analytical organization through various franchise initiatives and industry networking
  • Preparation of business proposals and client presentations
  • Track developments in the key industry/sectors and credit markets


  • Existing relationships with players in the debt capital market and hands-on experience of handling such DCM transactions, Debt exposures
  • Understanding of financial statement analysis, which includes analysis of P&L, balance sheet, and key ratios.
  • Knowledge of analyzing and rating companies
  • Business and proposal writing skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Client Relationship management.

Our exciting journey started in 2005 with rating of bank borrowers most of whom were small and medium enterprises. At that time, credit rating was a concept known only to large issuers of capital market instruments. Since then, like a caterpillar transforms itself into a beautiful butterfly, we transformed to rate bonds, bank facilities of large corporates and issuers across industries. Along came many achievements - SEBI Registration in 2011, RBI accreditation in 2012, 50,000 ratings in 2018, 5,000 Bond and Bank Loan Ratings in 2017, launch of India's first Android and iPhone app to disseminate rating, tamper-proof QR-code-enabled rating rationales, and SMERA Terminal to name a few.

Now is the time to re-emphasize our increasing footprint across all segments of ratings through the launch of our new name - 'Acuité'.
